Freelance project commissioned by my very dear friend, Amanda for her sister's Hawaiian, Willie Nelson themed birthday party. Per Amanda's request, I began this project by using Photoshop to add a bandana and Willie Nelson braids to the birthday girl's baby picture. After a good laugh and a brief brainstorming session, the "Baby Willie" photo inspired the Kelli Five-O theme. This photo became the focal point for the subsequent designs that were screen printed on cups and t-shirts, and digitally printed posters. Last of all (our favorite part of the entire project), was a hand-bound guest book for Kelli with real LPs as the front and back covers—designed and produced from concept to completion.
